golf tdi power loss with immobiliser bypassed?

I have a vw golf tdi ’97 the engine use to stop whilst driving and run on with ignition switched off-the immobiliser has been bypassed and this has sorted out that problem ,however there is a slight loss of power now anybody have any ideas
the car does not have spark plugs as it is a tdi.

the immobilizer may not have been bypassed correctly.
when the immobilizer was bypassed the wrong wires may have been connected, if the wires aren’t connected properly and insulated this could drain power from the battery. This could make the car loose power because there isn’t as much power being transmitted to the spark plugs. this causes the plugs to spark slower, therefore they dont ignite fuel as quick
